Extratech, a leading IT and Managed Service Provider and purveyor of ICT Education, is looking for a competent professional to fill in the post of Front-end Developer.

As a Front-end Developer, your responsibilities will include gathering user requirements, designing web elements and building navigation components to turn our software into easy-to-use products.

To be successful in this role, you should have experience with HTML5, CSS3, JS, jQuery , Bootstrap, React, design software and wireframe tools. If you also have a portfolio of professional design projects that includes work with web/mobile applications, we’d like to meet you.

Responsibilities

• Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and clients
• Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
• Design web user interface elements, like landing page, services page, contact etc.
• Change templates designs into browser friendly using HTML5, CSS3, JS, jQuery, Bootstrap and React
• Develop UI mock-ups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
• Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
• Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
• Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images

Requirements and Skills

• Proven work experience as a Front-end developer or Web Designer or similar role
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JS, jQuery, Bootstrap and React
• Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. Wire-frame.cc and InVision)
• Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator
• Should have knowledge of Git, SVN
• Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
• Good time-management skills
